In this lust connexion the date to bear in mind is not
so much an arbitrary period of six months from now,
but specifically september 1969 when ten of the

remission, have servad out their sentences.
Whether
or not the Governor could reasonably be asked to
rolesee the remaining nede worker (due for release
oaly in 1971) at the same time would be for
consideration then,

Kr. Cradock's phrase is misleading;
workers will be released at intervals over a period between
now and 1.71. But as explained in (11) above, ten of the
remaining eleven will be released during eptember 1969, none
before then, and only one after.
(iv) Fr. Cradock leaves out of his options the possibility of
releasing at an early date a smaller number than the remaining
eloven news workers. This is a possibility we have constantly
in mind. It does, however, rise the following serious difficulties:
