the Foreign and Commonwealth Office representative and the Branch's travel agent will be able to provide additional information at the briefing meeting as required.

For male Members of the delegation only: I shall let you know as soon as possible whether you will need to take dinner jackets with you for C.P.A. purposes.

Reports:

The Leader of the delegation is asked to send to the Secretary of this Branch as soon after her return as possible a brief factual written report as a basis for the account to be included in this Branch's 1969 Annual Report the type of account required can be seen from the 1968 Annual Report.

Our Executive Committee will decide on the delegation's return what other form of report may be needed from them, and whether there should be a Branch report back meeting.

The Hong Kong Government Office here has asked if delegates can provide a photograph of themselves as apparently it is the custom in Hong Kong for photographs of visiting M.P.s to be issued to the local Press before the visitors arrive. If you have a suitable photograph, I should be grateful if you could bring it along to the briefing meeting. However, if photographs are not readily available, please do not bother as the Hong Kong Government Office write that they can ask the Central Office of Information for them.

The Hong Kong Government Office has also sent a copy of the Hong Kong Annual Report for 1968 for each of the delegates, except Mr. B. Godman Irvine, to whom they have already sent one direct.

(H.G. Davies) Assistant Secretary
