riefing for 'erbers of Parliament,
3 p.m., 29 July
You will have received direct copies
of Mr. Tuff's minute of 24 July. I should be srateful if you could have a word with me some time before we meet this jarliamentary group and let me know very briefly the points you should cover in the remarks you make to them. Please let me know also if there are any points affecting any of the Tembers' particular interests of which
you think I should be aware before we meet them.

I think it would be helpful for each of you to consider whether there is any suitable pamphlet of which each of the MFe might be given a copy on the area with which you are concerned,
oyal Cora nwealth Society's notes on living conditions etc. in Malaysia, Singapore, etc; Or the little booklets prepared for British businessmen visiting various areas by the Board of Trade. (I realise the 78 may have other sources for obtaining this sort of material but it will not do us any harm to be trying to be very helpful.)
