Mr. J.A.H. Saunders, D.S.O., M.C., J.P, an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council, will be in England from the 3rd to about the 17th December, 1968.

You may recall that Mr. Saunders was in England for approximately two weeks at the beginning of December, 1967.

Mr. Saunders has asked if he may call on you, and

I have given him the usual introductory letter, as well as advising you that he will contact you.

4.

As you are probably aware, Mr. Saunders is Chairman of the Board of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and of the Mercantile Bank Ltd., and has been a Member of the Executive Council since 1965.
