SENATOR WILLIAM BUNTIN, (Labour Party). Born 1908. Education: Elementary. Married. Trained as Salavation Army Officer; retired Civil Servant. Served on several Public Boards and Committees. Chairman of the Local Village Council (Five Islands) Antigua. Nominated to the Senate of Antigua in February 1967, and elected as President of the Senate 29th November, 1968.

Graduated Osgoode Hall as Barrister and Solicitor 1954; partner in Law firm since 1954; active in Liberal Party Politics since 1963 at Riding level; President Toronto and District Liberal Association, 1967-68; President Toronto for Trudeau Committee in Liberal leadership campaign February- April, 1968. Elected to Parliament June 1968. Recreations: Skiing and tennis.
