With reference to your B.U. at (21) on this file I see that action is in hand regarding the last paragraph of Mr. Clinton's letter at (16) (your letters to Mr. Sykes at (18) and to Mr. Clinton at (20)). I note also that the Legal Advisers stand ready to see the Hong Kong Attorney-General when he comes in August.

I am not sure what further action you con- templated but presume that you wish to B.U. the file, in the absence of some further communication from Hong Kong, to ask for some specific details about Mr. Roberts' plans in order to agree dates for his visit to the Parliamentary Commissioner?
