I have had a letter from Mr. Gass giving details of his arrival here by air on 10 October. He will arrive at Heathrow Airport by BEA flight No.BE.255 at 1605 hours.

2. I have arranged for a car which will call here at 1505 hours. Either I or a member of the Department must go and meet him, picking up Mr. Sedgwick on the way.

Mr.

Mullarky is seeing whether he can arrange the use of a V.I.P. room or "help through" facilities.

3. Mr. Gass, who will be staying at his Club (East India and Sports) until Saturday, 14 October, will be coming to the

Office at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 11 October.

We should prepare

a list of any points which we could usefully discuss with him.
