MR. MAYALL said that HM Ambassador in Moscow had commented
favourably on the possibility of a member of the Royal Family visiting the Soviet Union in connection with soue public event in 1968. Advice
would be tendered by the Foreign Office to Sir Michael Adeane in due course.

SIR MICHAEL ADEANE said that, although The Queen and the
Duke of Edinburgh would not be visiting Malta in May, it was possible that the Maltese Government night suggest a short Royal Visit later in 1967.
