Position now is that Executive Council has advised against making any decision pending receipt of your views. Finance Committee has however agreed to meet half the costs of the C.H.T.C. in keeping Costain's tender open until 31st August

which Costains have agreed is a maximum of *£. 16,900 p.m. from 29th June.
