points that they are most likely to raise relate to:

(a) the low rate of compensation paid by the

Government for the resumption of land;

(b) the premium charged by the Government for the

conversion of agricultural land to development

land;

(c) Restrictions on the use of land.

It is suggested that the Minister should confine

his reply to saying that this is an extremely

difficult and

complicated subject on which he is

not in a position to comment without first exrrying

out a

not reful study of the subject. He has, however,

the points raised by the delegation and will

gonsider them

5. It is possible that at the end of the meeting the delegation

will present a memorandum to the Minister setting out the points

that they have raised in discussion.
