Mr. PANG Fu-wah, J.P.
Chairman of the Heung Yee Kuk and leader of the delegation. Comes from one of the New Territories" oldest established families. His ancestors settled in Fanling, which occupies a very central position on the peninsula, as early as the 14th century. They came from Kiangsi Province at the end of the Southern Sung Dynasty. In addit- ion to his.chairmanship of the Heung Yee Kuk, also chairs the Fanling Rural Committee. Was a director of the Pok Oi Hospital, one of the largest private hospitals in the Now Territories, from 1954 to 1957, and appointed an unofficial justice of the peace in 1967. Founder and managing director of the Luen Wo Investment Company, whose main interests are in real estate. Aged 49, married, five sons.
Mr. CHEUNG Yan-lung, M.B.E., J.P.

Immediate past chairman of the Heung Yee Kuk. Holds posts on numerous organisations in the New Territories. A director of the Pok Oi Hospital; chairman of the Cheung Clansmen's Association, vice-chairman of the New Territories
• Football Association and chairman of the Shek Wu Hui Chamber of Commerce. Appointed unofficial justice of the peace in November, 1964, awarded M.E.E. in. 1967. Has wide and varied business interests concerned mainly with land. Manages two land investment companies and a construction company, and is sole agent in Hong Kong for a well-known Japanese soap manufacturer. Aged 47, married, four children.

Mr. CHAN Yat-san, J.P.Y
Past chairman of the Heung Yee Kuk, now chairs the Tuen Mun Rural Committee, Castle Peak. Appointed unofficial justice of the peace in 1962, awarded the Badge of Honour in 1964 and the Coronation Medal in 1953. Business interests in the tourist industry, owns two hotels and an amusement park. Aged 47, married, four children.
