It had to be remembered that
in a number of cases M.P.B.W. staff would be moving from
unestablished to established service (or the prospect
of establishment); and this would be quite a material
compensating factor for any disabilities they suffered.
It was considered that, if the terms were examined
in close consultation with the Hong Kong Government, it
might be found that there were improvements which could be
agreed with the Hong Kong Government. This could be pursued
by the M.P.B.. tean that would shortly be visiting Hong Kong
for discussions.
