I sent you up yesterday a copy of a press cutting giving a verbatim account of the Commissioner of Labour's statement in Legco about the labour legislative programme. It is an excellent statement, as you will see, and I think
it might be helpful if we sent out copies to one or two of
the persistent critics, e.g. Mr. Thornton, Mr. Greenhalgh,
Mr. Blyth, etc. Would you care to ask Hong Kong for a few copies of the text of the statement?
