62.-(1) No employer shall make it a condition of employment of any employee that the employee shall not be nor become a member of a trade union and any such condition in any contract of employment entered into before or after this Ordinance comes into operation shall be void.
(2) Nothing contained in any Ordinance shall prohibit any employee from becoming a member of a trade mion or subject him to any penalty by reason of his membership of any registered trade union.
(5) Any employer who contravenes the provisions of sub- sectior (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred pounds or t imprisonment for a period not exceeding twelve months,

47. (1) No employer shall make it a condition of employment of any employee that that employee shall neither be nor become a member of a registered trade union or any other organisation representing employees in any industry nor participating in the activities of a registered trade union.
(2) Save as is otherwise provided by subsection 1) of section 25 of the Public Service (Negotiating Machinery) act, 1963, nothing contained in any law shall prohibit any employee from being or becoming a member of any registered trade union or organisation as aforesaid, or subject him to any penalty by reason of his membership of, or participation in the activities of, any such trade union or organisation.
(3) Any employer who contravenes the provisions of subsyction (1) of this section commitɛ an offence and shall liable on conviction to a fine of one hundred pounds or te imprisonment for a ter not exceeding one year r to both such
