from various sources including sample surveys the following information is considered to be reliable.
About 4% of women employed in garment-making industry work an 8-hour day. A small percentage work between 8 to 10

The remainder, over 95% works a 10-hour day.
Young persons provide an insignificant part of the total working force in the industry amounting to less than 1%. Of these about 15% work an 8-hour day.
