Parliamentary Question.
We are grateful for information in your telegram but would appreciate clarification of following points:-

do the figures given relate to convictions or cases? It is the former information which is required;
are we right in thinking that all convictions for employing women and young persons in excess of maximum legally permitted hours are covered by categories of offences mentioned?
Grateful to receive reply tomorrow 10th May if at
all possible.
3. We should also be glad to receive by air mail details of actual numbers of employees involved in the se convictions. It is understood that any one conviction of an employer may relate to any number of employees.
