In my telegram No. 32 of 27th January 1967 I promised to forward other relevant information when it became available. I attach six copies of a brief on the clothing industry in Hong Kong which was originally prepared for the Commissioner of Labour when he attended an I.L.0. meeting in Geneva in 1964. This brief has been brought up-to-date and although some of these statistics have not been disclosed, this is because there has been no con- venient opportunity to do so at present and not because they are confidential. The statistics will eventually be incorporated in the annual report of the Commissioner of Labour for 1966/7, but in the meantime, Hermann can be advised to make free use of them. A copy of the Hong Kong Report for 1966 is also forwarded.
