understood that, in exercise of the power conferred section 34(4) of the Telecommunications Ordinance (Cap.106) to revoke a licence if the Governor considers that the public interest so requires, it is intended to revoke Rediffusion's licence and to grant them a
new one, that, if this is done without the agreement
of Rediffusion Ltd., the Secretary of State may be questioned in Parliament about it and that, accordingly,
he would wish to be informed before any such action is
taken of the reasons for doing so and the grounds
which justify it as being in the public interest.
