Further to my saving despatch no. 419
of 29th February, 1968, I enclose for your information copies of Rediffusion (Hong Kong) Limited's letter dated 21st March, 1968 and the reply sent.

Rediffusion (Hong Kong) Limited seems to insist on claiming that clause 4(2) of the Copyright Bill, if enacted, will virtually abrogate its relay rights granted by this Government. The Company therefore appears to be prepared to take up the matter in court should it be sued by any party for relaying broadcast programmes over its network.
3.
I await your early reply to my various saving despatches on this subject.
