Saving

Mrs. Elsie Elliott

Enclosed are copies of a letter, with its enclosures, which were sent by Mrs. Elliott to Mr. Nigel Fisher, M.P. Mr. Fisher has asked whether there is any truth in the allegations made by Mrs. Elliott.

2. Grateful to receive your comments on the specific points raised by Mrs. Elliott. Advantage has been taken of the presence in this country of Mr. Roberts, Attorney-General, Hong Kong, to show the correspondence to him. It is under- stood from him that the Hong Kong Government will shortly be considering a Bill to amend the Prevention of Corruption Ordinance. Would you see any objection to this fact being included in any reply sent to Mr. Fisher?
