There has been no response so far from the NCNA here. We should be grateful to know as soon as there is any response in Peking and to learn of the details of any proposed visit to Grey. We should need to know the length of time allowed for the visit, whether only one person is allowed access and whether any Chinese official would be present during the meeting so that we may give exactly similar terms here.
