First group of defendants, Wu Tai-chan, a Director of newspaper Afternoon News, Li Siu-hung and Chak Nuen-fai, proprietors of the Nam Cheung Co. Ltd., the printers, were found guilty and sentenced to three years' imprisonment on charges relating to articles published in the Afternoon News. The two companies involved were each fined $12,000 and an order was made for the suppression of the Newspaper for six months.

All three are also involved in further case which will come up later this week.
