2. I am sorry that honglas Pivett-Carnae did not get an acknowledgement to his most useful letter on the structure of the Hong Kong informtion machine which was discussed at the meeting of the Hong Kong Working Group mentioned 34) in Littlejohn Cook's letter of 3 October to you. 8)
3. As regards your suggestion that Stanley Ellis should be seconded to Hong Kong later next year, this can be discussed with Douglas Rivett-Onrnae when he returns in December and with littlejohn Cook whan he returns from his tour of South East Asia. I have passed a copy of your letter to Gaminars in the Commonwealth Office,
