It was agreed that:
a)
JIPGD should write to Mr. Watt in Hong Kong to find out whether a replacement for Mr. Rivett- Carnac would be necessary and whether an experienced journalist was still required in Hong Kong.
b) JIPGD would explore with Hong Kong the question of sponsored trips for foreign journalists.
c)
The Ministry of Defence would investigate the possibilities of sending an army camera team to Hong Kong.
