We should, in any event, wish to maintain close liaison with the Hong Kong Government's Information Services to avoid confusion.

3. I shall be grateful to receive your comments on the proposals in paragraph 2 above, and in particular for your views on the scope of any functions and activities which might be carried out by a U.K. based Information Officer without running the risks mentioned above.
