Conclusions
3. The SECRETARY OF STATE said that as a result of this visit he fully appreciated the problems which existed.
The long-term size and shape of our services was now under examination in the Ministry of Defence and the results of this complex study would obviously have local effects in the Far East.
This examination of our forces should be the last in the life-time of the present government. In conclusion the SECRETARY OF STATE thanked all concerned for all that had been done to make his visit so useful.
