Director-General of Education in Western Australia and at

present Chairman of the Interim Council of the Western

Australian Institute of Technology. The UGC is willing to

agree that its Secretary should serve also the Polytechnic

Planning Board.

Selection of a site might be difficult. The

site should be urban and easily accessible. Examples

of physically suitable sites are Whitfield Barracks, the

Naval Dockyard or the Hung Hom reclamation.
