The Prime Minister wrote to you on
August 7 about your proposal for a new name for the Hong Kong Police.
He has asked me to explain that he is not yet in a position to let you know the outcome of the suggestion since we are still in communication with the Governor about it.
But I can assure you that the matter has not been lost sight of.
