He is all right but shows signs of strain. ask Beckman to ensure that he is met on arrival, with a car if possible, and afforded every assistance. He asks that a single room with bath be booked for him at the Eccleston Hotel or somewhere equally central. He has neither passport nor vaccination certificate.

3. I am discussing the residual functions of the Consulate with the Political Adviser and he will be telegraphing separately.
