Meanwhile we are considering taking the Portuguese at their word and asking their assistance in removing our confidential files, We would ask them if they can guarantee protection and provide assistance for two people to be sent from Hong Kong to remove the files. If the Portuguese agreed (which is perhaps unlikely)
would you be able and willing to provide the people to do the job?...

We would also ask them if they were willing to arrange for the packing and despatch of personal effects.
