Following disturbances at an artificial flower

factory, the Rubber and Plastic Workers Union put forward

four demands:

(a)

(b)

immediate release of workers arrested;

punishment of evil-doers and payment

of compensation;

(c) guarantee of the workers' personal safety;

(a) no interference henceforth by the police

in labour disputes.

F.T.U.:

(a) Immediately cease bloody suppression,

(b)

guarantee no recurrence of similar

repressive incidents;

immediately release all arrested Chinese

workers, students and compatriots;

(c) severely punish the culprits and pay

compensation for all losses;

(a) Hong Kong British authorities must confess

their crimes.
