If we are worried at the prospect of the Communists making propaganda out of the Hong Kong Government's refusal to grant their request to visit the jailed journalists with "comforts", we could surely anticipate this by inspiring a similar request from a non-Communist prisoner, which could then be refused and the refusal publicised together with the reasons.
