Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to the fact that the sum of #725, being the rental for the Hong Kong Telephone Company's teleprinter for the period 16th October 1967 to 15th January 1968, is still outstanding.

When the teleprinter was installed on your premises on 16th April 1964 you were advised that the sum of $2,900 a year was payable as the rental for the machine. The teleprinter was provided by its owner, the Hong Kong Telephone Company Limited, and this department only acts as a rent-collecting agency.

No charge is made by this department for the news service which we provide to you through the use of the teleprinter. I trust that you are finding our department's teleprinter service to be of more value during the past few weeks.

If you wish to discontinue receiving G.I.S. teleprinter news service, I should be most grateful if you would let me

know.
