At (1) 1ɛ a letter from the United States Subassy
in London proposing an inter-governmental Areement
by xchange of Notes covering liability in the event
of a rucleur incident whilst the nuclesr-powered
ship "Ravannah' is on a visit to Hong Kong in June
of this year.
An inter-governmental Agreement in the form of
un Exchange of Notes already exiute between B.V.G.
and the .. Government (signed on 19 June, 1964)
covering liability in the event of nuclear incidenta
for the visit that the "Sɛvannah" pada to United
Kingdom arts in 1904, when the ship was ope ated by
the United States' Government.

visit cho be subject to an entirely new Agreement
and they have submitted a possible draft with the
latter at (1). In doing this, the .b. authorities
have enggentod times the 1.04 greecent may not now be
