I have ventured to suggest certain amendments to the draft enclosed with your letter and I now enclose a copy of the result. Huxtable's inquiry has been framed in very general terms and I suggest that the reply should be similarly framed.

I have cleared the amended draft with Boyd in the Far Eastern Department and with Heap in South East Asia Department.
