Demonstrations by crowds of up to 1,000 in school playground at Mong Kok (GR 078721) on 3 days during period resulted in some arrests and closing of playground by police.

20 killed by landslides in colony after heavy rains. Troops at Lowu now reduced to Coy HQ and 1 Platoon.
