Christmas holidays in Hong Kong passed without incident and in festive mood amidst reports that local Communists are putting an end to their violence on instructions from Peking authorities.
According to non-Communist Chinese daily newspaper Express (Fai Po) moderate faction of Hong Kong Communists have decided to follow instructions of authorities in Peking to put an end to their violent activities in Hong Kong.
