Border has remained quiet except for isolated incident at Sha Tau Kok on 19 Sep when bomb was thrown from C.T. across the road at a joint military police patrol five of whom were injured. Second wire fence set back from border completed.
Bomb planting, Incidents hore show a marked increase over recent weeks with a peak of 32 trus bombs boing found on Wednesday, bombs have been thrown against police patrols and bomb disposal teams. One officer, 1 sergeant, D police and 6 civilians wounded. One Chinese suspected of carrying a bomb killed,
Demonstrations by crowds of up to 750 have been taking place mainly in the Korioon eroe. They have largely dispersed before police arrived leaving behind numbers of true and hoax bombs g
