quiet and the Hong Kong Govarmant continues in full control

of the situation.

The Governor, Sir David franch, weclared back

in the Colony on the 24th September.

Before he left this country, he had discussions with the

Prime Minister, Lord Shaphard and zyeelf about various aspects

of the situation and future developments in Hong Kong»
