With reforonce to my minute of 1 November, it has now boon decided that the Commonwealth Office, and not the Cabinet Office, will be responsible for co-ordinating tho briefing for this visit. I accordingly attach a schedule of briefs showing departments responsible for initiating thom and dopart- ments to be consulted.
Would Hoads of Commonwealth Office Departments responsible for taking tho initiativo please lot Miss Vining of Atlantic Department have 20 copies of the briefs, aftor having cleared thom as necessary, not later than Thursday 16 November.
