These recommendations have previously been the subject of demi-official correspondence with Sir Arthur Galsworthy and were also the subject of discussions during my recent visit to London. I would be grateful if the approval of Her Majesty could now be sought for these appointments to be made on a substantive basis with effect from lat July 1968. It would be of groat assistance to me if Her Majesty's pleasure could be notified by telegram, if at all possible by 20th June 1968.
