I have the honour to address you on the subject of appointments to the Executive and Legislative Councils. Executive Council
2.
The appointment of the only nominated Official Member of the Council, Dr. TIG Pin-hui, expires on 30th June 1968. I recommend his re-appointment for a further term of one year.

The appointments of Kr. Q.M. Tingle and Mr. A. Todd, formerly Director of Urban Services and Director of Social Welfare respoctively, Lave already been terminated by their resignation from the Council; in the former caso, upon Mr. Tingle's retiremont from the public service; in the latter case, at my request, upon the re-appointment of Mr. Todd to another post in the public service. My despatch No. 540 notified the provisional appointment of Mr. D.R.W. Alexander in the place of Mr. Tingle, and of Mr. A.T. Clark in the place of Mr. Todd for the period up to 30th June 1968. I now recommend that Mr. Alexander be
