I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed Dr. CHUNG Sze-yuen, J.P., provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council with effect from 31st October, during the absence from the Colony of Mr. F.S. LI, 0.B.E., J.P.
