I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed Mr. Wilson WANG Tze Sum, J.P., provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council during the absence from the Colony of Mr FUNG Hon-chu.

Mr. Wang's previous appointment referred to in your Despatch No. 672 dated 18th December, 1967 expired on 6th February 1968 following the return of Mrs. Ellen Li Shu-pui.

Copies of the Instrument of Appointment in respect of Mr. Wang and of the Gazette Notice promulgating his appointment are attached.
