Cover: One of the first to be completed of the many giant hotel complexes being erected in the Orchard Road area of Singa- pore is the impressive Ming Court. De- signed by Kumpulan Akitek, with interior design by Dale Keller & Associates, the development consists of a slab block rising to 17 storeys from the south end of a podium whose five above-ground decks are terraced back to form a visual base to the tower. A courtyard within the podium is open to natural light through the full height of five storeys.
