The professorial block is connected by means of a covered bridge on the third floor level to the first floor of the hospital wards, so that patients can be trollied to the professors or specialists for consultation without leaving the building.

An additional new bed-passenger lift at the end of the bridge, attached to the existing hospital building, was also constructed to provide vertical transportation from each floor to the bridge.

Building Time

The professorial block was started in July 1965 and completed in April 1967, a construction period of 22 months.
