Bade, drilling rig, with derrick & pump unit for cast-in-situ piles

Undercarriage with four hydraulic support-legs, ad- justable by vertical cylinders that move the entire rig sideways or along. Drilling rig approx. 9 ft. wide. The high-pressure pump unit is designed to power all hydraulic functions, moving the rig, raising and lowering the derrick and operating the dump-table.

The hydraulic pump is propelled by a Deutz diesel engine, which also powers lifting drums and a device for percussion drilling. The device is adjustable for work with either free fall or any of 5 variable strokes. Derrick headroom 43 ft., max. loads 10 tons, will carry the following equipment: 1. Guidance clamp for up to 5 ft. dia. casings. 2. Loft. 3. Jib for handling grabs and buckets. 4. Dump-table for controlled discharge of excavated material. 5. Single-rope type hammer grab, with release socket.

Bade, oscillating equipment for cased cast-in-situ piles, with high

pressure pump unit

The Oscillator consists of clamp supports, lifting jacks, hydraulic clamp, oscillating cylinders, and counter- weight box. It is powered by a pump unit which includes control for operating the oscillating machine. Total weight 81⁄2 ton. Max. clamp dia. 5 ft. Max. stroke 20 in. Torque to casing approx. 150 tm. Lifting capacity for extracting casing 200 tons. The pump consists of an air-cooled 75 b.h.p. Deutz diesel engine, transmis- sion, pumps, oil tank, control. The components are mounted on a skidframe.

For use with a drilling rig or any crane, the grab is worked with a single hoist-cable. It is designed for

use in cased bore holes.

The claws are interchangeable, so the grabhousing can be used for various diameter piles.

Type 1: Claws diameter 45 in., weight 4,300 lb. Type 2: Claws diameter 45 in., weight 4,300 lb. Type 3: Claws diameter 28 in., weight 2,700 lb.
