A VIEW OF PROGRESS

Aluminium is being used more and more in buildings throughout Malaysia. The Kuala Lumpur International Airport is another fine example of the practical and decorative uses of Aluminium, the modern metal.

Anodised aluminium has been used for the doubleacting Glass Doors, Shop Fronts, Interior Partitions and in the Observation Gallery. In the basic con- struction, specially reinforced aluminium uprights have been used on the mezzanine floor and all aluminium walls are used in the mezzanine and first floors. At very high density noise points, double unit aluminium walls have been specially incorporated to minimise sound transference. This wide use of aluminium adds a modern functional yet pleasing and decorative touch to this new and exciting landmark of Malaysia, supplied and installed by Malaysia's leading manufacturers of architectural aluminium products.
