Great Hall, theatre, court, administration complex
THE
'HE recently completed Great Hall of the University of Malaya. Kuala Lumpur. is part of the pro- duct from an architectural competi- tion, held by the university in 1962, for the design of a complex of build- ings in the centre of the campus overlooking the lake.
This complex includes the adminis- tration centre of the university, court room, the Great Hall for Convoca- tion, assemblies, conferences and in- door sports, and a theatre. The buildings were to be designed as an aesthetic focus to the entire campus. yet to be constructed and equipped within an extremely tight budget.
