THE completion of a seven-storey, 27,000 sq. ft. building at Ngau Tau Kok in the New Territories by a system of in-situ post-tensioned con- struction, and at a cost comparable to traditional reinforced concrete design, points the way to a wider use of this construction method on future multi- storey buildings in Hong Kong.
